At your first appointment you will be asked about your medical history and any past cosmetic treatments you have had. You will then be able to discuss the concerns you have and what treatments you are interested in. If you are unsure, Dr Samer will offer her expert opinion, keeping in mind the constraints you may have such as personal preference, budget and so on.
All the information about the treatment at our cosmetic clinic will then be explained to you so that you have full informed consent before proceeding. If you are happy to proceed, the first treatment will be done there and then. If not, you can reschedule to attend at another time for treatment.
Occasionally, treatment cannot be done at the first appointment for various reasons, but this is not typical
Yes, you can usually wear makeup. Wrinkle relaxer treatments do not affect it at all and dermal fillers occasionally require removal of a little makeup as the skin needs to be cleansed prior to treatment. Skin rejuvenation treatments require clean skin with no makeup so coming with a clean face does make a difference. If you are unsure, just ask about this at the time of making your appointment.
Your first appointment will typically take half an hour but if you are having a combination of treatments it may take a little longer. Dr Samer will not rush the appointment as she takes time to ensure the best possible cosmetic result is achieved.
Subsequent appointments for treatment will typically take between 15 and 30 minutes. You will routinely have a follow-up appointment after your first treatment which is to review the results and ensure you are totally satisfied. This is a 15 minute appointment unless further treatments have been arranged to be done at the time.
Most people do go straight back to work. This is why it is often referred to as the “lunch time face lift”. After dermal filler treatments, you prefer to have a little time out but it is not critical. Skin rejuvenation treatments require you to remain out of the sun for the first 1-3 days, so if you work outdoors, you might want to schedule your appointment accordingly.
A consultation is $90 which will be waived if you decide to have a treatment on the day.
Dr Samer’s fees are based on the amount of product that is used for your treatment so will differ from person to person.
- Forehead ~ $150
- Frown lines ~$300
- Crow’s feet (side of the eyes) ~$300 – $500
Dermal fillers are prepacked and come in 0.5ml and 1.0ml syringes. These cost $350 and $650 respectively. A heavy filler may cost up to $750 per ml. Once opened, the contents of the syringe belong to you and cannot be used on anyone else. You will pay only for the product that is opened for your treatment and larger volumes will be discounted a little.
Skin needling costs $350 per treatment. A package of 3 treatments will cost $950.
PRP costs from $300 to $600 depending on the size of the area to be treated. If coupled with Skin Needling, the cost of the 2 together is $590 and gives the best results as a combination therapy.
Thread Lift procedures vary greatly from as little as $1000 to $4500 and includes 6 months of after care. Only after a consultation can a firm estimate of cost be given.
Lesion removal usually costs $90 – $150 but may be a little more for many lesions treated at the same time.
Lipodissolve treatments for double chins cost $350.
You can discuss costs over the phone prior to making your appointment to get a firmer quote by calling 94474985 during business hours.
This varies from person to person. You need to discuss your concerns with Dr Samer at the time of making the appointment so you can be given advice in advance if there are particular things you need to do.
Typically there is minimal pain or discomfort. Wrinkle Relaxer injections are like small scratches on the skin. They are very quick and most people barely feel them. Dermal fillers can be a bit more uncomfortable depending on which part of the face is being treated. Local anaesthetic is used as required to block pain. Skin needling can be quite uncomfortable, so you will be advised at the time of making your appointment about preparation required to minimise your discomfort.
Most treatments cause no bruising. Dermal fillers can bruise depending upon the area being injected. The worst areas are the cheeks and chin area. Dr Samer makes every effort to use injecting techniques that reduce this risk. PRP treatments do routinely bruise, so plan for this and book accordingly.
Dr Samer uses arnica (a homeopathic remedy for trauma and bruising) and ice to reduce bruising, but unfortunately, bruising cannot always be avoided. Makeup will cover most of the bruising but if you are one of those people who bruise easily, you should expect some bruising and prepare by purchasing Arnica spray or cream beforehand and also use when you get home.
You can pay by cash, MasterCard, Visa or Eftpos. All payments are required on the day of treatment. Should you not be satisfied with the outcome of a treatment, please make an appointment to discuss your concerns and how these can be managed to your satisfaction.
There is ample parking at the door and no costs are involved.
You are required to give at least 24 hours notice of a cancellation or a $50 cancellation fee will be charged
Dr Samer usually runs to time. You will rarely be kept waiting more the a few minutes. For this reason, there is no need to turn up early or expect to be delayed
Dr Samer routinely sees all clients after their initial treatment to ensure you are happy. She takes her work very seriously and takes pride in everything she does. If you are not happy, then Dr Samer will want to know about this.
Do not be shy – the follow-up appointment is your time to discuss your concerns and to then have any further treatments required to get the look just right. You may be required to pay for further product at this time depending on the amount of product needed.
